Security & privacy

Can SafeNote read my notes?

No. Every note is encrypted locally (AES-256) before syncing and the key stays on your device.

What data do you log?

Only anonymised usage metrics (latency, errors). No content or sensitive metadata.

Features

Does the app work offline?

Yes. Notes you opened or synced remain available; sync resumes automatically once you are back online.

How do I share a note?

Use the “Share” button to generate an expiring link with optional password. You can revoke it anytime.

Account & support

Can I recover a deleted note?

Yes—use the secure trash within 30 days. After that the note is permanently destroyed.
